Junior Achievement Job Readiness Program The Junior Achievement Project/Program is an after school Job Readiness Program that promotes job readiness and educational training for At-Risk youth who reside in the inner-city ages 12-18. Programs will consist of youth class room participation with on-hands workshops, and creative projects in several area's; carpentry, masonry, flooring, drywall, painting, job safety, small machine repair, landscaping drafting, basic drafting and basic knowledge of architectural and/or machine blueprint reading. A group of highly qualified and experienced volunteer instructors will follow a program outline and syllabus in which textbooks, a computer lab, along with on-hand projects will be completed. |
